We have a few friendly reminders regarding class skills, class times, uniforms, and our upcoming ninja night:
CLASS TIMES – Just a reminder that classes are designed for ages and rank. Students are welcome to attend classes below their rank. Keep in mind that we will be studying skills for that class.
CLASS SKILLS – This coming week we will be on our third week of traditional movement including all stances, blocks and forms. The following week we will review and have opportunities to test for the gold stripe. We have had some excellent work and focus by all our amazing students so keep up the hard work.
UNIFORMS – Now that summer is over, we ask for all students to be in full uniforms in class. This includes karate pants and karate gi/top. You are welcome to wear a karate t-shirt under but we do require the top when it’s not summer time. Students attending Tuesday sparring classes may wear their MPK T-Shirts to class.
NOVEMBER NINJA NIGHT – On Saturday November 11, we will be hosting our next NINJA NIGHT for ages 8-12! The time of the event will be from 5-8 pm and will include awesome games, pizza party and a movie. Students may invite a friend to attend as well! We will be sending out a link to save your spot and more information soon.
