Notes for A+ After School Program

Posted on August 27, 2014

We hope your summer was full of fun. Ours went way too fast, and we’re sure yours did as well. We would like to welcome all our new students and returning students back to the A+ After School Program for 2014-15. Our Instructors and staff are fired up and ready to kick the year off.

Here are a few things that need to be considered as we start the year:

Attendance! Please let us know in advance if your child will not be attending the A+ Program. It is very important that we know who should be getting off the bus each day. We need to account for all kids in our program, so if your child did not go to school, or you picked them up at school for any reason, please let us know that they will not be attending.

Please communicate with your child’s teacher to make sure your child gets on the right MPK A+ bus when School is done.

  • WES bus #12
  • E.P. bus #8
  • YES bus #15

Tuesday the 2nd. Will your child be attending? This is mostly important if you have a Kindergartner or 5th grader as they have a shortened schedule on the first day. If not attending on the first day of School, let us know by emailing Ms. Melinda. Feel free to stop by and/or drop your child off in the afternoon around 3:00 for class.

Participation in in class is expected for all students. If your child is attending they will be dressing and taking class.

Uniforms will be going home on Friday this year. Please remember to take uniforms and home for the weekend and to send them on the following Monday so everyone is prepared for class.

We are really excited to meet all our new students and to catch up with returning students. Enjoy the last week of vacation and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions no matter how small.

Thank You!
— Mr. Armstrong and the A+ staff
