Hi MPK Families – here are a few changes to our schedule for upcoming test dates:

• Saturday, April 15 – no class – closed for the Easter holiday
• Wednesday, April 19 – no regular classes other than A+ After School — belt promotion testing beginning at 5:30 for Gold, Orange, and Green Belts who have met their test criteria
• Saturday, April 22 – no regular classes other than Total Fitness Training at 8 am — belt promotion testing beginning at 9:30 for Purple, Blue, Red, and Brown Belts who have met test their criteria
• Sunday, April 30 – Second Degree Black Belt test for Lauren Weikert and Abeigh Huggins beginning at 1:30 pm. Come down and cheer them on!

Hello A+ Families! Since next week is Spring Break, evening classes will go on as usual if you’re going to be in town. There’s no school March 27-31. The karate schedule is as follows:

• Little Kickers: Mon/Wed/Thur – 5:00-5:30pm
• Juniors: (white-gold-orange-green) Mon/Wed/Thur – 5:30-6:15pm
• Juniors: (purple-blue-red-brown) Mon/Wed/Thur – 6:15-7pm
• Sparring: Tuesday – 5:45-6:15pm
• All ages: Saturday morning – 9:45-10:30am

If you come in for class during Spring Break please have your child get their card from the back counter and bring it up front to an adult behind the counter to get a stamp for class. Every class counts.

Early Release Day – school out 2 hours early

We’re a little behind on telling you what’s going on the month of March (sorry about that), but I’m sure your child will be bringing home notes about these activities, too.

If your child will be participating in anything listed below that will affect their class time and needs to be picked up earlier or not coming to MPK, please let me know so I can write it down in my calendar book. Thanks!

Here are a few reminders for upcoming events at the studio:

• Saturday, February 11 – Black Belt Test. Violet Lawrence and Owen Kramar will be testing for their Black Belts beginning at 11:00 am. There will be no regular classes that day, other than Total Fitness at 8:00.
• Saturday, February 18 – Belt Promotion Testing. Promotion testing for Gold Stripe through Brown Stripe belts beginning at 9:30 am. Students who have met their class requirements and have all colored stripes will be eligible to test. No regular classes that day other than Total Fitness.
• Sunday, February 19 – Super Sunday. Black Belt training from 5:00 to 6:30 pm.
• Saturday, April 29 – Second Degree Black Belt Test for Lauren Weikert. Time to be determined.
