Hey A+ After School Families, there’s lots happening in October! Here’s a summary of things to keep in mind:

Thursday, Oct. 2 – Open House for EPES, MES, WES, YES, 5-6pm
Friday, Oct. 3 – Homecoming Parade, 5pm
Monday, Oct. 6 – Early Release Day (2 hrs)
Thursday, Oct. 23 – Early Release Day (2 hrs)
Friday, Oct. 24 – NO SCHOOL and NO A+ After School at MPK
Thursday, Oct. 30 – Community Trick-or-Treat Night — DeForest H.S., 5-7pm
Friday, Oct. 31 – Halloween — Trick-or-Treating in DeForest, 5-7:30pm

There is a sign up sheet for next Monday’s (Oct. 6) Early Release day. Please indicate YES or NO if your child is attending. Or feel free to email Melinda (melinda@karatedeforest.com) and she can mark them down for you.

With the activities starting at 5pm, if you know that your child will NOT be coming to MPK or will be picked up early, please let us know so we’re all on the same page ahead of time.

A+ Families, the first early release day at school is Monday, Sept. 22. School will be dismissed 2 hours early, but your pick up times at MPK remain the same.

• Full-time A+ Students: All early release days are included.

• Part-time A+ Students: If Monday is your normal day to attend MPK A+, then no extra fees are applied. If Monday is NOT your normal day to attend MPK A+ but you would like to for the early release day, then you’ll need to pay $32 per person.

Yes, indeed! You’re looking at the new and improved MPK website. Our new site is now fully responsive, meaning our site will adjust to any device you view our site on — desktop computer, tablet, smart phone, etc.

All the info you’re used to on your computer is more readily accessible and now you can easily find it on whatever device is convenient for you. Wherever you are, our mobile-friendly class schedule looks great — even on smart phones — and it’s also easier to enroll or renew your plans using your tablet or phone.

There may be some things that have always been there, but you never knew it. Things like Belt Requirements and demonstration videos of your forms. Those class-related resources are now easy to find under the Classes menu.
